Happy Valentine’s Day!
One Reverse Mortgage would like to wish you and your special someone a Happy Valentine’s Day!
If you have been with your snuggle bunny for some time, Valentine’s Day can be an old hat. Although I am a firm believer in showing your love for your snuggle bunny every day, Valentine’s Day is another way to show your special someone how special they are to you. Here are some quick and easy Valentine’s Day activities you can easily do with your special someone.
Candle Lit dinner
How romantic, cook dinner together and enjoy each other’s company in candle light? It’s a classic way to spend Valentine’s Day together. You don’t even have to cook dinner together, get carryout from your favorite restaurant and skip the worry of cooking dinner, and cleaning up the mess! Enjoy over candle light! Don’t forget dessert! For a cheap solution, buy strawberries and chocolate sauce. Yum!
Homemade Valentine’s Day cards
When was the last time you made a homemade Valentine’s Day card? If it has been a while, sit down together to make a sweet homemade Valentine. Check out your local craft store to pick up the essential pink paper and glitter. Don’t forget heart shape stickers! Spend an hour or so together crafting the perfect Valentine’s Day card.
Homemade Bingo Cards
Who doesn’t love Bingo? I’m not just suggesting a game of bingo because it is known as a game for seniors, but because it is a really fun game. If you customize your bingo sheets, instead of numbers, include places you love to go, foods you both like and other things you have shared together over the years. Trust me, you will end up playing your personalized Bingo for hours!
Romantic music
Cut a rug with your love bug! Nothing is sweeter than dancing to a slow song after a romantic dinner. Make a CD of all your favorite love songs or songs that have a special meaning.
Favorite Valentine’s Day together
If you have been together for a long time, you have plenty of Valentine’s Day memories. Reminisce about your Valentine’s pass and talk about all the memories you share together on this day for lovers.
Classic movies
Head to your local movie store and rent a few of your favorite movies, even if there not the most romantic movies. Share a bowl of popcorn and enjoy your favorite movies together.
Relive your first date
Take a stroll together down memory lane and relive your first date. If your first day place is no longer standing, go to your new favorite place and relive your first date. Talk about all the little things you remember from your first date. How nervous were you? Did you think your romance would last like it has?
Love is an essential spice to life. Valentine’s Day is a special day to show the ones we love how much they mean to us. If you no longer have your loved one, share the day with a close friend or family member.
Happy Valentine’s Day!
