This year TV icon Betty White turns 90 on January 17! I had to give this golden girl a birthday shout out because she is one of my favorite actresses. I loved Betty White as Rose Nylund on Golden Girls. In fact, Golden Girls is probably one of my favorite TV shows of all time.

Betty White’s career started in radio but her career really took off when she appeared with Al Jarvis on this daily variety show Hollywood. From there Betty White has appeared in some of America’s favorite TV shows like The Mary Tyler Moore Show and Golden Girls. She also was a game show regular on To Tell the Truth, Password, Match Game, $100,000 Pyramid, and Wheel of Fortune.
Betty White has a star on the Walk of Fame, won seven Emmy Awards, a Lifetime Achievement Awards and was inducted into the Television Hall of Fame in 1995.

To help celebrate this TV icon’s birthday, NBC will be airing a 90 minute tribute to the birthday girl, Betty White’s 90th Birthday: A Tribute to America’s Golden Girl . The show will include many celebrities and even more laughs. So make sure to watch NBC on Monday night at 8 p.m. to watch the birthday party for Betty White!
